I have added a couple postcards to the Postcards Of The Past section of my website. They are of the Dunes Motel in Anaheim in the 1960s and a Hody's Restaurant/North Hollywood card that is from the late 1950s.
See these and all the other great old postcards at

Thank you for sharing these! I love all the old architecture photos you have been sharing for years...
Thanks Chris.
It's the positive feedback I get like this that makes it all worth while.

Love the look of the old Hody's coffee shops...I wish one of them was still around!
I have that postcard of The Dunes. One thing I like in particular about this one is that there is a 1965 Imperial parked in the lot.
This is the very car I drive (in my spare/hobby time). Mine is a different color, but it's neat to think that it could have been me and my ride checking into the Dunes in late '68 for some Anaheim adventuring.
Knowing what I know now, I'd probably head first to the Disneyland Hotel for a quick cocktail at the Monorail Bar, then hoof it down to Wonderbowl while passing the Wanderlust and the Princess Motels.
I'd probably check in on the ghost signs at Wonderland Plaza just for good measure!
See what your site hath wrought?
Seriously Vic: thanks for your efforts---They've inspired and moved me forward in the history hobby which continues to bring me a lot of joy (as well as a lot of rolling eyes form my kids and wife!)
Take care---
CHRIS
