I was at Pann's in June during the daytime; it's even prettier at night! How did you get that elevated shot looking into the front corner window? Did you ask the owners for permission or just go for it? do you know the story behind that stylized map? Did it trace the original owner's journey West?
Also, have you ever paid a visit to the former Wich Stand (now called Simply Wholesome)? I can't remember if you have that one in your site somehwere. If you haven't gone, I highly recommend it. The interior is mostly different but the exterior is largely intact.
There is also an almost totally original Chip's Coffee Shop on Hawthorne Blvd in Hawthorne that is well worth a visit.
I think the map showed other restaurants that used to be owned by the family. I have eaten at Simply Wholesome many times. I work in the area. It was originally across the street from the vacant Wich Stand and then it became their current location. It has been remodeled, but still has the vital Googie flavor we all crave. Both it and Chips are in the Cool Coffee Shops section of my site.
